We’re looking for a social media-focused marketing intern/specialist to lead the company’s social media and email marketing strategies and help bring TLEP to the ‘next level’ on social media. You will have a major impact in shaping our brand story and how it’s told to the digital world.

This is a great role for someone eager to own a multitude of key marketing responsibilities and play a pivotal role in TLEP’s marketing strategy. The Marketing Intern will proactively identify opportunities to both attract leads online and convert them effectively through a company website. The Social Media Intern/Specialist will be responsible for maintaining social media activities such as posts/tweets to all applicable social media outlets and coordinating with sales reps to search for potential clients.
The ideal candidate is driven, self-motivated, and creative. He or she is adept at both crafting long-term strategy and executing tasks across multiple projects.

Responsibilities:

will include but are not limited to:

  • Help to refine and execute a go-to-market plan for our wellness program targeted to both consumer and business markets. Establish strategic messaging and branding to support business growth objectives.
  • Perform research into our industry and provide actionable tips and advice for improving our marketing.
  • Developing and scheduling content for posting on all designated social media outlets including creative, monitoring online competitor presences/perceptions, reporting trending topics and other relevant online data.
  • Identifying influencers and potential clients across all social channels.
  • Administrate and maintain our website content. Establish & maintain email marketing campaigns.
  • Constantly monitor the success of marketing activities and create meaningful quantitative reports for management.

Your Qualifications:

  • Strong writing, analytics, interpersonal, and project management skills.  Self–motivated and eager to learn and grow. Ability to work independently.
  • Familiarity with social and digital media strategies and platforms (Blog, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, YouTube, and Instagram).
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university with 1+ years of marketing experience.
  • Experience with MS Office.
  • Video creation/editing experience a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience with a track record of building personal and/or business social media accounts- creating great content, growing followings, and increasing engagement, and social media interactions with current and potential fans and followers.
  • Constantly proactive in seeking out tools to optimize and enhance social efforts.

The internship will start with working 4 hours a week. There will be a formal evaluation within 4-6 months and can transition into a longer times and then full time position. This internship is great for a candidate who has interest in wellness and is looking to start working in marketing and social media management and needs a portfolio of experience.

Start Date: Immediate

Location: Remote and close to Framingham, MA.

  • Desire to generate substantial income in a 100% commission arrangement.

You are responsible for your own operating expenses, including your computer, printer, mobile phone, internet access, travel, entertainment, and any other business expenses.
